Guarding Design

DESIGN DETAILS: All operational robotic and automated designs required the development of a complete guarding system to ensure that the operators are adequately protected from all moving components. All designs followed the guidelines laid out in CSA-Z432. Designs were completed with input from the operators to ensure that the final concept met all operational needs and provided adequate access to the machine for day to day operations and during maintenance. Projects ranged from complete designs to small modifications to existing guarding but in each case complete focus was given to ensure that the operators where adequately protected from all potential hazards.
