MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT,Cityhallway-NAIROBI

The project is basically a proposed Mixed Use Development(MUD) in Nairobi City,Kenya.It comprises of a 4 story podium and a 21 story Tower.The podium has a mall (chain stores and shops),bank and a hospital.There is a rooftop restaurant and an infinity pool with an amazing view of the city.The tower comprises of office spaces and residential spaces(studio apartments,1,2 & 3 bedrooms).This is a 3rd year studio project i worked on .It tells the story of a 'city on the move' hence the staggering shafts .Nairobi city is a busy city rapidly growing and the concept of vertical cities is being widely embraced to tackle the problem of overpopulation and limited land resource.My project aims to achieve the function of live,work and play all in the same space!
