You can manage your jobs and chat with the Cad Crowd workspace.
The contract workspace is a centralized work area where you can collaborate with experts on job contracts. Your workspace includes information about your job contract and tools for editing and managing it. Each job contract has a dedicated workspace, even if you have multiple job contracts with the same expert.
You can view workspaces on your Job contracts page.
Workspace features
The workspaces allow you to take the following actions:
- Chat: You can chat with experts and share files
- Voice/video calls: Make Zoom calls with experts and invite team members
- Meetings: Coordinate and plan meetings
- Payment: Send payments, bonuses, expense reimbursements, and payment history
- Work journal: Check work timesheets and billable hours for your hourly job contracts
- Edit contract (hourly jobs): Increase hourly rates, edit manual time permissions, change max weekly hours, etc.
- Edit contract (fixed rate jobs): Add new milestones and approve payments
- Job details: View the original post and the experts that applied for your job
How to use a workspace
You can view your open workspaces on your Job contracts page and navigate the workspace with the following:
- Quick actions: Click the ••• icon in the top right of the workspace for quick actions (i.e., send a bonus, request a refund, end a job contract, etc.).
- Overview: The overview tab shows the weekly billable hours (hourly jobs) and manage your job milestones (fixed-rate jobs).
- Timesheets (hourly jobs): The timesheet tab shows the work journal timesheets and screen captures for your expert’s billable work hours.
- Chat: The chat tab allows you to send messages, share files and start voice/video calls.
- Terms & settings: The Terms & settings tab has an overview of your job contract, including a summary and job description. For hourly job contracts, you can adjust the hourly rate, weekly work limits and enable/disable manual time tracking. You can view the original job post listing. In addition, you can view recent job contract activity and information about the expert.
