Hi Priyanka

as explained on my last comment above, the stand or pavilion or booth, is just that one on the sketch-up model
It has just to be remodeled in Revit
the level of details at the moment is ok if it will be the same than in the model
with the level of detail relating to family, I mean that such ceilings should be identified with a specific truss which is obviously not one of the default standard Revit
should therefore be identified as a "cieling mdf panel". "mdf beam cieling." etc..
same for the walls
if you look at the model you can see That walls are subdivided vertically, etc..
just That
there are no specific model of windows to be parametric, etc..
the furnitures are quite simple, and that's ok, is not for an industrial production.
the glass of windows must be 1cm thick, but the detail of fixing is ok
I dont need the printing layout
just the proper 3D model ready for all my modifications, etc.

please let me know if this is ok for you
regards
diego

I have reviewed the sketch-up drawings and have a couple of questions regarding the same;

How may stands are there in total to be modeled?
How much detailing are we looking at? is the detailing level same as the sketch-up drawings or more than that?
the families have to parametric families?

Ok guys

I've just explained few more things to the cadcrowd people
hope everithing is ok now

probably there was a big misunderstanding in the drafting of the original text.

in Europe we use the word "stand" to indicate the temporary structure, office or shop, that we use to work in exhibitions.
in america I found that you are using the word "booth".
someone is using pavilion
I did not know completely until a few hours ago. Thats probably the mistake

what I would like the designers will do is this: take the 3d model that I provided (made in sketchup) and starting from the same geometry, using the metric system in cm or mm, rebuilding it completely in Revit. inserting the appropriate levels, etc.

If they need an idea of materials, the original one is made in lacquered Mdf panels. If they look properly at the geometry, they easily will see that it is made with proper mdf panels, etc.
following the original model you will find all the dimensions, etc.

I'm not asking for any proposal or ideas for other objects to put on it
Just the rebuilt of that model

Please let me know if this is 'sufficiently clear and if there's all you need to do.

I've just arranged 'to add 3 days to the contest
no more unfortunately

please let me know
ciao

the purpose is to check the service and have a real and proper feedback of how it is working
this "stand" has already been produced,
cause we moved from vectorworks and sketchup versus revit, lumion and cinema 4D and cause we are changing our approach to design production in my office. it is the first time that we are outsourcing drawings.
but in any case, on next week we are starting a new project based on this stand, cause of a new location, so what we need is a revit model in which we could work properly
starting from this 3D we are going to re-produce all the technical layout and renderings
so it must be detailed following the sketchup model
the geometry are not so complicated, but it is important to see how you are planning the levels, families, etc

contact me for any further question
ciao

What is the purpose of the revit model.
Is it to build from.
Is it for renderings
Is it to give to another party eg convention organiser.
What output will be produced from the model.
What scales will output be produced at.
