Hi, Asim Goraya
You want in my design drone have a single tail? Also, you want design of drone have frame and body are integrated into a single strong structur (unibody)?.
I like your design, but could I see it with one vertical fin. Two tails that close together lose there advantage. I would prefer a unibody design over a drone made of multiple pieces.
Dear Asim Goraya,
there is a problem,
an object so large in the shape of fish in a lake will be mistaken for a predator from any other living being,
so will trigger a general stampede.
However 300 ft below the level would find only scrap fallen over the centuries,
maybe some treasure? :)
Still technologically very interesting.
I imagine the underwater drone to be used by biology students or underwater enthusiasts to explore lake bottoms. It will be small, able to be operated by a single person. It will be tethered from a surface vessel. I imagine that an IR Camera would work better at the bottom of a lake than an optical camera. The drone can stay in one place to see underwater vegetation and watch sea life go by, or follow animals around. This is a first prototype that will be made into a 3D model that I can Experiment with. Think of it as the test model and not a finished product ready to ship. Finally I have added some images of vehicles I would like the drone to look like.
Wants:
I would like a design for the body of the underwater drone. I will be using of the shelf motors and a GoPro camera with an IR lens. It is like asking for the design of a car body.
Based on the responses I got, I would like the drone to have two motors. The motors will be mounted in housings in the fins. One motor for each fin.
The fins can rotate 180 degrees like the US Navy Osprey.
The fins have a large surface area in order to maneuver. The fins will work like the fins on a humpback whale.
The drone should stay underwater for at least an hour
The jelly is being used to give the drone its structure. Instead of using a thick hull to resist high water pressure. The drone will be liquid filled.
I can work on your project full time
I do have experience designing and building small submarine.
I also have experience with 3D printing (I have a reprap printer)
You can look for Omer ETS , I was team leader of the project from 2012 to 2015.
But as most people say, I need more information.
Do you already have the propultion and controle systeme and only need frame/structure?
What will the jelly be used for? does it need to be food safe? only watertight?
I can start to work on your design as soon as I have more information.
PS: I prefer to work with soldwork than Autocad.

What is your infrared camera intended for? infrared radiation, or any electromagnetic radiation (including any possible wireless control) aside from the visible spectrum gets greatly absorbed by water and is largely considered unusable underwater.
hi Asim
I have been involved in the design and build of large and small ROV&;s and AUV&;s, you will not have full manoeuvrability with one motor/prop.
also, how are you planning to control the drone, is it tethered from surface vessel or launched to swim free (this will require onboard data programming for route planning)
