We would like to create a workout product that is similar to the attached image. However, instead of it being a fancy/expensive machine, we'd like to make a cheap version that can be easily folded/stored and used primarily at home.

It is called a "rowing machine" so you can look up videos or articles on exactly how it is used.

No, you can look up videos/articles about the rowing machine yourselves so you can research more about it (design, function, etc).

Oh, so this is a body-working machine - ( e.g. ABS ) like that ? what about look up for the videos or articles ?means that you can look trough that while you are rowing that machine,right ?
