Description:
Alfred's Microphones wants to create the worlds first Modular Microphone. The goal is to create a condenser microphone with interchangeable capsules and circuitry for different studio recording applications.
Design requirements:
1. Capsule/ head piece must be removable.
2. Circuitry must be removable.
3. All removable parts must be easy and quick to assemble.
3. All removable components must be lockable onto the microphone body for stability and durability.
4. standard male XLR connection for base
5.Circuitry isn't being designed here, just the process to easily interchange the interior circuitry and head piece/capsule without any rewiring involved for the microphone user.
Wants:
Alfred's microphones is a company that believes in customizability and ease of use with it's customers. Everything should be hassle-free, and intuitive to use. Esthetically I would prefer the microphones to have a vintage, 1920's American design structure.
Black and white colors are used for the Alfred's Mic's Logo.
Simplicity and smooth design is preferred over all else.
I recommend starting with the structure of a Neumann U87i design and reverse engineer from there.
Don't Wants:
No electrical designing necessary, otherwise the sky is the limit.I also don't care which software you use to do it.
Software:
- 3ds Max
- Adobe Illustrator
- Autodesk Inventor
- PTC Creo Parametric

Discussion
Hello there.
This is very interesting task. However not being directly connected to your industry it is quite difficult to imagine what exactly you mean.
Would you please provide following:
1. Your web site in order to see what your previous microphones are.
2. Inspirational pictures.
3. The types of microphones you wish to see in a range of modular microphone system.
4. Show what circuitry looks like
5. Alfred's Mic's Logo
Thank you in advance.
Anton.

300 sqm 3D floorplan sketch
I have a land and I'm planning to make a 4 floor building for a residential purpose . The design should be a modern style apartment .the land size is 700 sqm but the allowed space for building is 300 sqm .
I need to see 2 different designs as this :
First design : The floor should consists of 2 apartments , first apartment to have 3 bedroom and the second apartment to have 2 bedroom . Both apartments must have at least 1 master bedroom , a living room and a hall with setting and dining area . I suggest the size to be 170 for the 3 bedroom and 130 for the 2 bedroom . There should be built in wardrobes .
Second Design : Should consist of 2 apartments , first apartment to be a 3 bedroom apartment with all masters and a small clothing room in one of the master rooms. it should have also a big hall , living and children playing room if possible . The size of the apartment should not exceed 230 - 240 sqm . The other studio apartment should not exceed 60-70 sqm .
I have attached 3d designs that I really liked but it doesn't fit my land plan . I also have attached an autocad floorplan that has been mad by one of the local designers but it didn't meet my expectations but I attached it for your understanding .
Please note that the ground floor apartments should have 2 Entrance , one entrance is the Main stairs entrance that leads to other top floors and the elevator and the other one is a side entrance for each apartment in the ground level .
You may notice that the setback area is shown in one of the designs attached which should be mined .
Hinge for mailbox
We are designing a thick gauge aluminum mailbox (0.080” aluminum (2024 or similar) front and back; ¼” (6061 or similar) lid). We are having problems finding an off-the-shelf hinge for the lid that meets our evaluation criteria (below). Lid is a thick, flat piece of aluminum, no bends. Final product will be powder-coated.
