Yes...Congrats to winner for a very good looking design! I do however agree with the below comment. It only met the Din requirement and yet won...very confusing.

Yes, I am sorry for this. The winning design is not the best from the DIN rail fitting, but it is good enough and compensates this with other convincing strengths.

Thank you, I&;m glad you like it. The texture is carbon fibre, the most cost effective way to reproduce it is a vinyl wrap which is a cheap and durable coating. It could also be done with a process called hydrodipping.

Thank you for this nice design!
How do you produce this texture? Can it be made by standard techniques?

,I know how the mount works on a DIN rail, I almost used it, but my question is how do you screw yours into the wall when a DIN rail is not being used?

Hi Mr sldraftingdesign
it&;s simple
Put the metal spring in their position and After that
Push against the metal spring upwards to mount the control box

Almost haft-time with the contest, and there are some awesome models here already...
I am quite happy and as Aminegn suggested, I added another 100 $ for the second & third place to the contest to honor that.

If I can have a wish for that, it would be from the 5 nominated designs to be a touch more interesting/some more nuances added to the designs. The logo can basically be everywhere and some of the designs could be a bit less bulky.

I almost used that same DIN rail mount, however, how do you mount it to the wall?

Hi Mr Christoph;
thank you for your comment.
Answer to question 1 :Yes it is necessary, but one can modify the design with the add a form that fit on the support.
Answer to question 2 : This is the easiest solution, just you can push up against the metal spring to release the Control-box

I like this one. Especially the mounting to the DIN rail. I have two questions:
- is it a custom made metal part that is needed for the mounting, I mean the spring-like part in grey?
- is it intended that one can take the box on and off without any tools, by pushing it upwards against the metal spring?

Thank you

Please don&;t take it as an insult. I take it as a compliment when people copy aspects of my design. Thanks

# 8...copy it...lol. Its the only way to mount it without opening the unit or having a built in track on the unit that can still snap in from the front without sliding from the side
