*The filter size is 59 x 20.5 x 13cm
*There must be a way to secure my filter inside the enclosure without drilling/gluing. Screws etc are ok to re-enfore it.
*There needs to be two holes for the cable input and output.
*Prefer it can be made from metal/CNC-able.
2. It can be made from CNC machines or self assemble by joining different parts together with screws
3. The material is Steel or Aluminium
4. Can be assembled without any soldering or gluing.
6. Size - maybe slightly bigger than my filter?
7. The cable input and output holes must be at the sides of 20.5 x 13cm (aka front and back end)
8. The plate thickness can be upto 1cm or more
9. the bottom surface must be flat or something funky like the Portal Turret
10. I'm open to the choice of software

1.for input and output ,what is the prefered diameter of it will be holes
--- 3cm for both holes
2. Are you need a sight lamp glass for indicate the user the divice in service or not
--- nope
3. Steel/alu is a better choice because they have much better EMI shielding property than plastic. Copper is the best, but often hard to deal with due to various reasons.
4. no buttons are needed.
thanks

Are you need a button for operate the device and if yes what the dimension you prefered
Sorry for these long Comments and ques.

as long as it is convertible to other formats, it is fine.
Advandes-
Yes, those nuts and washers must be stay there, and the enclosures must fit in. 13cm includes the washer and nuts
James-
again, as long as it can converted, im open to options.

Nope, no heat al all. it is a passive filter for electricity.
thanks guys!
Can it be free standing or will it be rack mounted?
Are you open to having the design completed in Solidworks?

Regarding the end of your filter with the two protruding threaded pipes with nuts and washers; I assume these are going to remain and the new enclosure will have to fit around these items. Can you please verify this? Also, does your overall dimension of 13cm take in account for these protruding items? Thanks!

Steampunk.. interesting. Will it be will complicated for CNC? what kind of ideas do you have in mind? I do love the retro style from Fallout, like this

I do prefer CNC/assemble the CNC pcs together. 3D printers are very very rare here, not sure if I can access it.

The rectangular thing in the photo is the filter. The project is to put this filter into a enclosure. A nice looking enclosure.
Basically you just need to put the filter into the case. The outer enclosure is only for decoration or maybe some sort of shielding.
1cm thickness is correct. It will be made in China where these kind of materials are easily accessible at a reasonable price.
The input on one side (left), output on the other side (right).
let me know if you have any more questions.
thanks

Could you re-confirm thickness of enclosure 1cm. I assume it is 1mm. Please correct if am wrong.
Also could you give us filter drawing or photos. Your inputs consists of similar enclosures, but filter drawing/photo is missing.
Re-confirm input and output cable opening should be both sides of filter or only one side.
Sorry for asking more questions, but without this details preparing the drawing is difficult.
Thanks
