Description:
We are looking to redesign the front cover only of our housing. The cover should keep the same dimensions so it still snaps into and works with the back housing. The back housing will be an industrial white. The front housing will be clear. See the sketch concept (MRX design version 2 - Setra file) file to see what we are moving to.

We want to move away from the curved look of the front cover in favor of a flat face with a bezel (see the BAPI product for inspiration). The sticker label will have a rectangle cutout where a new, larger backlit display will be featured. The sticker will have a slight industrial texture to it.

Please note we are considering adding a blue LED inside the housing to illuminate the clear edges of the front cover housing. Please try to mockup up the product with and without a blue light glow. Please also have a backlight effect on the display. All entries should be on a white or transparent background.

Attached are current CAD files. Note the front cover will now have a flat face, the back housing will not change except for the color which will be safety/industrial white. Also attached are images of our current product (the MRX) and competitor products. We like the BAPI design the best.

One final note, we also wanted to change the locking hinge to have more of a rounded shape instead of the squared shape. We also want to add a small hole in the latch (and a new hole in the back housing) for a small cotter key type lock or set screw.

Thanks and I am happy to provide clarification.
Wants:
We want this new cover to have a more modern industrial look to it. We will be evaluating the look and polish of the finished design. We want the design to look realistic. The front cover needs to have a flat face and a slight bezel. It also needs to still fit on the back housing.
Don't Wants:
New concepts that won't fit on the current back housing.

To all designers: Please be sure to look at the file "MRX design version 2-Setra". Please incorporate a larger display versus what we have today. Please also make sure the designs include the lower blue wave part.

@Bruno CADET - We'd like to keep the back housing as is, but we'll certainly consider internal hinges to see how it looks. Thanks for asking!

Hi,
I well understood you don't want to modify the back housing.
Just, is it possible to put hinges inside it. We'll get more esthetic
