I did final changes on a mascot design. I have bigger 14 in mascot with ball connected arms and smaller, 6 in mascot with single piece arms.
Also, I made a new shell in the head, body, bolts and antenna. It is because weight and of course, price for used material.
I have both models in .STL fromat, which is OK for Makerbot Replicator 2. So, I will wait for your answer and think we can wrap this up.

And one question for you.
Do you want to do this single piece arms with a ball shape in the area of the elbow, or same circular cross-section throughout the length of the arms.

1. Shoulders are one piece with body. I think it is most simple way how to print that and fix in one step.
2. It is no problem to do the arms as a single piece for smaller runs. I can do that maybe in two days...
3. Arm and hand pieces are connected with other smaller ball joints too. Detailed pictures are now uploaded...
That looks great! Everything looks perfect, I did have a couple questions:
1) How do the shoulders connect to the body? Will those be one piece with the body?
2) I&;m thinking the arms should be one piece for smaller runs, but multiple pieces are fine for larger. Can you provide arms both as a single piece (only adjustable at the shoulder) as well as broken out as you have it?
3) How do the two arm pieces connect as well as the hands connect to the arms?

I updated new screenshots of my assembly design. One DWF file is attached also. It is a 3D file format which you can view in Autodesk Design Review for free. There are new ball and nut/bolt connections and 3 pieces of my custom joints for the "antenna" and neck. Details of these joints you can see in DWF file.(or I can send other pictures)
Please let me know your opinion and possible changes. After you will be satisfied, I can shell the head and body of your mascot to finalize a design.
Hey Dominik - the upload looks great! However, I did have some concerns, which revolve around "assembly".
Let&;s take for example the screws in the head. The way I assumed this would assemble is by actually having the screw thread into the head - I&;ll print the head in orange (with female threads) and the screws in grey (with male threads) - then attach. As it currently sits, it looks like it&;s all one piece, so I can&;t print each component then assemble.
I have similar concerns with the neck, arms, lets, antenna, etc. That said, I think the arms and legs can assemble with ball and sockets and the neck would naturally be a threaded nuts/bolt. The antenna I&;m still not sure. Perhaps ball/socket up there as well.
Anyhow, I think that&;ll be the best way to make this something you can truly "assemble".
Hello Matt. I updated a few pictures of your nice logo person. Recently I am assembling all parts together with possibility to move hands, legs and neck. I am really interested in your opinion,. If there is something to change, feel free to let me know and I will fix it.

I didn&;t really put much thought into it. I was thinking solid body / parts - but now that you mention it - that would use a TON of filament and add considerable weight. Perhaps a hollow head and solid body and feet to add stability?
As a newcomer to the world of CAD / 3D printing, I assumed everything could be made "to scale" (much like the attached vector).
If that&;s NOT the case, I would say the entire finished product should measure in at 14in. If it makes it easier, I just uploaded an illustrator file that is to scale so various measurements can be taken off of that.
