'Less is more' to achieve minimal footprint during manufacturing - ideally restricted to aluminium cnc machining and bending.
Have fun-- this is a competition that encourages ambition.
After award, we will contact our chosen designer to enter R&D process with us + additional payment.
Example: please view below as an ideal design, however, do not submit similar as this is a competitor.

1. 4mm thick aluminium panels
2. If possible, please consider practical wiring channels for cable management
3. GPU will be connected with a PCI-E riser (flat cable), so can be detached from the motherboard.
For fair comparison, please utilise the following models in your design:
1. RTX2080Ti - 3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/c4e12918-f09a-4af4-8a3f-100e07e51899/Nvidia-GeForce-RTX-2080-Ti-Graphics-Card

any thing else need to be consider ?
how much complex the design should be on the scale of 1 to 10 ( "1" being simple plane sheet metal and 10 being complex 3D generative design only possible to produce with with 3D printing or CNC )

this case only for mini itx?

Excellent questions.
1. No multi-GPU requirement.
2. No, not necessary if open case. However, vertical space to fit larger CPU coolers is a must. (80mm). If enclosed, I would suggest simple perforation and a small fan.
3. To lessen the complication of design, I would say it is not necessary. If you wish to include compatibility with liquid coolers as part of your submission, it must be an optional/add-on bracket etc.

I have a couple questions:
Will the case need to have multi GPU (SLI/Crossfire) compatibility?
Will the case need to provide cooling for the motherboard?
WIll the case need to have space for a radiator for an All in One Cooler?
Thank you again, and I am looking forward to working on this project.

I apologise-- I&;m not too familiar with CAD software as you can tell. Please find alternative files compatible with SOLIDWORKS below:

It sounds like a really fun competitions and I will like to submit entries as soon as possible. However, is it possible for you to share a more generalized version of the design, files, i.e. IGS/IPT file format? I use Solidworks for design and a Sketchup file is not supported in it.
Please let us know, if its possible.
Thanks
