We need to change it into one of the following:
1. Two apartments - each apartment has a small living room with a small kitchen and a small bathroom with a shower. One apartment has two small bedrooms, and one apartment has one small bedroom. Each apartment should have a separate entrance.
2. One big apartment with a big dining/ living room and kitchen, and 4 bedrooms. A bathroom/toilette and a separate toilette room. Each bedroom should have a separate entrance from the living room.
The water sources will most likely not change but the electric outlets can.

You say "We need to change it into one of the following:
1. Two apartments ....
2. One big apartment ...
Is this mean you want on second level layout of two apartments as stated under 1. with your description, or one big apartment as stated under 2. with your description.
Is this correct?
Regard.
Appreciate the clarity and additional photos. What a lovely home! It has so much character (design elements)!

I am sorry. That is all we have available for now. There are likely some columns in the middle wall but we don&;t know where. Very old house
Buyer
1.) Renovation will strictly be for top floor (2nd level)?
Yes
2.) If plumbing is not to be relocated, how to expect new floor plan layout? From interpreting the drawing, plumbing is within a central wall.
The wall can be torn down and the room layout can also be changed. But the sources of water are not easy to change as it is a 300 year old house.
3.) Looks like there are structural columns centrally located (top floor seems to illustrate this, and would make sense for structural integrity). Please confirm. (Still able to remove walls, if columns are load bearing). Some pictures of basement/crawl space will help.
There is no crawl space. I am not sure what you mean by basement. We have a ground floor, a second floor and a roof. We believe there might be a column inside the middle wall upstairs, but do not know where. We will adjust the plans we get accordingly. There are no other plans other than what we submitted. As far as we know only the outside walls are bearing walls upstairs. So we will just have to look out for columns once we start the renovation.

Design And More:
1. ground floor plan shows big walls which seems structural for the house:
Yes, that is why we are ONLY changing the upper floor which doesn&;t seem to have integral walls and can be changed. There might be a column, but we have no idea where so we will adapt once we find it, but there are no other plans in existance.
2.Are you sure for this floor ?
for upper floor pretty sure
2. How much entrance in the house are ever made ? We have one garden and one street entrance downstairs. That will stay the same as we don&;t want to change anything on the outer walls.
Do you want to transform cella into a living space or let it like that ?
Eventually we want a third apartment upstairs, but not in the next 10 years.
Are you ok to create three stairs to create 3 duplex ?
not really as we don&;t want to change anything downstairs for now.
Thank you for the great questions

How much entrance in the house are ever made ? I see 3 openings from exterior to the house and one last for a cellar.

Thanks by advance.
