Description:
Race Car Engine Cover Mold. +/- 2 or 3 mm - does not need to be perfection. I have pics and dimensions. Hoping you can scale it off the pics unless you are Local (Atlanta). I will be available during the design for extra pics of measurements. Hoping this will be a 3 or 4 hour draw for some one. We will take the drawing and cut a mold from foam on a large CNC Router and lay up in CF or FG.
Here is a link to pictures.

Thanks for your comment, FWIW I got EXACTLY what I wanted once I tweaked the info and clarified a few things. I had several submittals that were perfect. I was not looking for anything like OEM quality, this is for a race car. Very pleased....unfortunately I did not realize how expensive the foam would be to cut this mold when I started (face palm)

Hi erikl1. I just want to let you know, without a STEP file or knowledge of the machine that will be used to create the part, this can not be done properly.
You are asking for a tremendous task that would usually cost over $10k to do with a manufacturer who specializes in it.

Or we can talk on e-mail.
Greetings erikl1, I have attached the file in .SLDPRT format. If you need the .STEP file you can inform me here.
Hey there, I have a question. Do you need mold design to manufacture this car engine cover or you need STEP file for this Engine cover ??
Okey I will share a model with detailed dimensions at morning. It is night here.
Added a few more measurements
I am working on it.
Hi, Mr Erikl1, You don&
;t need to worry, I will give you a model today because I can design.

Daza - I dont have a 3D scanner, my experience with them has not been satisfactory for angular parts. I investigated this route
AmarSource - Did you see the liink to all of the pics?
RK - not sure what you are asking?
RIchards - When I did CAD 100 years ago we used to pull images in and "trace" them and scale the part. IS that not a thing any more?
I dont want to pull a mold from the original part for various reasons, we have looked at this.
Thank You All for looking at my project!

better can you Shear the Step File Engine cover .
The provided image doesn&
;t give enough information to complete the job. Can you please provide Top, Side and Front view of the component with necessary dimensions?
![](/showimage.php?cid=3159&num=039&img=small.jpg)
Could you please make a 3D digital scan of the part? This way we have the exact dimensions.
Without precise interface geometry (the 3D shape of the engine bay opening, locating/fastening pin positions, interior &
;stay-out&
; volumes for the engine, intake/vent sizes & locations etc) this approach will almost inevitably fail. Something won&
;t fit, there will be gaps or interferences that you won&
;t discover until you&
;ve made the first part off the mould. This means you somehow need to make and provide a full set of 3D measurements of the existing cover and its corresponding interfaces on the car. Alternatively, have you considered making a &
;splash&
; mould from the existing engine cover to reproduce the geometry and going down that more traditional route?

Cost to design.
Sorry I probably need to edit some of the info, I was not clear exaclty how the contest worked initially.
I went to DM my e-mail and I realized that is not allowed. Thanks for the info.

erikl1, I&
;m a bit confused. Is this a contest or a job posting? You reference cost multiple times. Do you mean the cost of the design or the cost to manufacture?

erikl1 and alizain, you both can communicate via DM on cadcrowd. Sharing personal details isn&
;t allowed. Also, alizain, if you post a design, that will automatically create a chat room for you both to utilize.

Most welcome.
You can share other details when feel free. I am available for you.
I am highly interested in your project.

Adjustable Serving Tupperware
In theory, this is very basic. Although I am just a law student and by no means an engineer of any sort. My idea is to create a tupperware that has slits in a grid like form on the bottom and sides. Additionally there would be slits under the lid. With the grid-like slits, one would be able to put inserts in order to separate there food. with the insert going into the bottom, sides and the lid, there would be a nice seal from any liquids or foods mixing with the others. Obviously, the point of the grid is to be able to create different sized servings and adjust them from bouncing around. Basically, one could put a perfect compact cup of rice, another for veggies etc. The preserving tupperware current on the market do not allow this and one has to purchase a thousand of them. My vision is for it to be able 10 inches in length with a 5 inch witch and about 2.5 inches tall. The top of the tupperware and lid should look similar to your standard rubbermaid tupperware.
the walls of the tupperware should not be less or more than 90 degrees.
The corners and need to be rounded.
The slits them selves should not be to shallow, for that would defeat the purpose of them. My estimation is that they would be about .5 centimeters. Because of the slits, the bottom and sides could/maybe/should form a ridge like surface. (think of ruffles)
Lastly, the ridges, or slits should be continuous, at least in my mind around the entirety of the tupperware, which means the lid will need to account for vertical ridges along the walls of the tupperware and still be able to seal it. Although I will not prepay, being the cautious man of law that I am, payment will be given upon the winner being chosen. AND, in the event that my price is significantly low balled and outrageous I will increase it if no one in their right mind would accept it. Thank you.
Tyler Food Truck Park
We have a vacant lot that we are planning to launch as a food truck park. We need design ideas for the layout of the food trucks (6 trucks). We need to figure out best method for getting trucks in and out of the property each day. Each truck needs to have a pad for parking with electric service. We also need to design an outdoor seating area for the food truck park patrons. Covered seating is a must. Picnic tables and sunblock structure with ceiling fans. Also, we need a small structure on the premises for a management office for the park (very small - one room), a small cabana style opening for a bar and two restrooms attached for guests. We'd like the perimeter of the food truck park to be enclosed with only one way in and out for guests and of course and in and out land for trucks. The park will be on the two adjoining lots shown on the attached survey and elevation. Please draw to scale!! We don't have any set-back limitations.
Suspended carbon fibre hammock bath
As part of my home renovation I would like to create a stunning and comfortable carbon fibre hammock bath, which will be suspended by two wall mounted supports.
The bath will be manufactured by taking the 3D CAD model created by this design contest and creating a wooden blank using a CNC machine. The wooden blank will then be wrapped in carbon fibre cloth for strength, waterproofing and aesthetics.
I have some dimensions, weight specifications and other requirements such as the location of the bath filler, bath waste, water pipes and head rest.

Convert hand drawn elevations of a house into autocad.
Very important, some of the elements and or materials on the sketch might not be drawn accurately (i.e roof tails or corbels, roof tiles, columns etc. The final product is expected to be professional. Attached are the scanned Elevations and feel free to request CAD floor plans, roof plan and sections for reference.
