To further explain the lock/unlock feature, it needs to meet below requirements:
1) Quick lock - to attach and lock the dog lead to D-ring with a locking mechanism quickly and easily
2) Manual permanent lock - to securely lock for the above and avoid any chance of loosening the lock with an additional lock mechanism
This design will be used by a manufacturer to create a prototype from it. Firstly we will test potential entries with 3D printers. So 3D files need to be submitted in STL and STEP format,
First place will continue working with us on the design including full hardware design for manufacturing / mass production, and other renderings of the design along with the inside mechanism.
The material of the hardware needed to be produced in metal in order to withstand below-quality test.
**The hardware needs to withstand several quality tests e.g. sudden impact test for the leash is about 170kg for large breed dogs. The design must be strong enough to withstand the weight.***
