Howdy
I have just joined this forum in the hope of finding ideas on how to use my new cad program.
14 years ago I was a project engineer at Honeywell. I used Autocad on a daily basis and was pretty good.
23 years ago I needed to design an electronic lock for a Casino in the Caribbean. The new company didn't want to pay for AutoCad. so after looking around abit I discovered DeltaCad. It was cheap and easy to use but only 2d. Still I have used it for years to draw a lot of things for my home projects. I used it to design power panels and network diagrams at Honeywell, for quick sketches Its great.
I am designing a portable motorized Gin Pole for my sail boat. I wanted to draw it three-dimensional so I acquired Progecad. Its a good deal, not subscription based I drew this as part of the design process.
