You are required to select a winner within 7-days of the contest ending.
Since clients generally have a good idea as to who the winner is before the contest ends, this selection deadline is trivial in most cases. However, if your contest ended and you’re having trouble deciding on a winning entry (or require additional entries), a one-time 3-day extension will be allowed.
If a winner isn’t chosen within 2-weeks of the end of the contest and no response is given to a final follow-up email, Cad Crowd will select a winner and distribute the prize money based on existing rankings, comments, and feedback. While it rarely comes to this, this policy is in place to ensure designer confidence and participation in the Cad Crowd community.
