How Managed Services and job contracts are different:
- Managed Services: When you request Managed Services, we connect you directly with a vetted expert that has gone through our contractor evaluation program.
- Job contracts: You’re responsible for finding and negotiating an estimate for self-managed job contracts.
- Communication: You can communicate directly with the expert via email and phone calls (when needed) for Managed Service projects. Job Contracts require that all communications be handled exclusively through the Cad Crowd platform and dashboard (i.e., chat, contract Workspace, etc.).
- Personalized NDA/IP protection: You can request personalized NDA agreements (electronic/PDF signatures) for Managed Service projects. Learn more. When you hire an expert for a job, your confidentiality (non-disclosure) and your IP ownership are protected by our standard terms of service.
