Giving and receiving reviews is crucial to the success of the expert and Cad Crowd community. When you share a review, you help experts learn about areas of work where they can improve and voice your gratitude for successful parts of a job. In addition, your review helps other clients make wise hiring decisions for jobs on Cad Crowd.

Types of reviews
You can share two types of reviews:
- Public review: Your public review is added to the expert’s public profile and visible to all Cad Crowd users. You can add a score ( 1-5 ★) with the rating system and rank each of the expert’s skills (i.e., skill, quality, availability, deadlines, communication, cooperation, etc.)
- Private review: Your private review helps us measure the expert’s skills confidentially and is not visible to Cad Crowd members. The private review sends your feedback to our support team and helps us recommend the best experts to other clients.
If you decide to close a job contract, you will be prompted to share a review. If the expert closes the job contract, you have 14 days to post a review. Read more about closing hourly jobs and fixed-rate jobs.
Leave a review for a job contract
Steps to leave a review:
- Visit Job contracts
- Select the contract
- Select the ••• dropdown > click Leave review
You have 14 days after closing a job contract to share your review. The platform has double-blind reviews, meaning a review is visible after both parties have shared experiences. The double-blind reviews encourage honest and impartial feedback from both clients and experts. If only one party provides a review, it will become visible after 14 days.
Change your review on a contract
If the 14-day window for leaving feedback has ended and you still need to share your experience, you request a feedback extension from the expert. We will notify you if the request is approved.
If you’ve already left a review but would like to make an update, you can contact the expert and ask for the ability to edit your review. Remember that enabling this option allows the expert to edit the review posted on your Cad Crowd profile.
