Most experts reply within 24 hours and the most successful experts give a response within 1 to 2 hours.
Quick response times can benefit you by:
- Visibility: Helping potential clients discover you in the freelancer profile search
- Responsiveness: A high responsiveness score demonstrates to clients that you will likely reply to messages. Your responsiveness rate will be visible on your profile. If you have a history of responding to client chats within 1 to 2 hours, a badge is added to your profile to inform clients of your quick message turnarounds.
- Reputation: Enhancing your reputation as a reliable and professional individual. Even if you’re not interested in a job, inform the client so they can continue their talent search.
Here are some tips to help you improve your response time:
- View your Cad Crowd inbox in your daily routine, and you can set a reminder on the calendar to integrate it into your agenda.
- Modify your notification preferences and email alerts with these steps:
- Go to Settings > select Notifications
- Update your preferences for website alerts, desktop notifications, and emails
- Enable desktop notifications for your computer. Please read our article about managing your notifications.
- Choose your work availability — if you’re on vacation or busy with other jobs, set your profile status as Not available for jobs with these steps:
- Got to Settings > select Your profile > click ✎ Edit icon next to Work availability
- Select Not available > click 𝍄 Calendar field to pick a date when you can accept new jobs
- Click Save button
You also have the option to change your profile visibility to private and avoid additional job invites. If your profile is private, you can still chat with your current and past clients on Cad Crowd.
