All communication must be sent through the Cad Crowd platform, and sharing contact information is only permitted with a contract buyout with the Direct Hire Program or Managed Services. Keep in mind that asking for or providing contact information on the platform is prohibited according to the terms of service. This restriction applies to profiles, proposals, job listings, and work invites.

Please note the following when communicating with clients:
- Contests/job contracts: No direct contact information (i.e., phone number, email, Zoom, Skype, social media accounts, etc.) can be shared with clients, and all work must be submitted through the Cad Crowd platform.
- Managed services: The exception is when a client hires with our managed services or pays for the Hire Direct Program.
Work portfolios help clients get insights into your abilities and allow you to exhibit your expertise.
By presenting previous work, portfolios enable clients to view tangible demonstrations of your competencies. A portfolio should be distinct from a listing of prior employment, a resume, a curriculum vitae, or a LinkedIn profile.

Contact information is prohibited in work portfolios, and discussions must happen on the platform.

- Legal documents: In the event that users need to exchange or gather data that could contain contact details, such as for legal reasons like non-disclosure agreements or IP (intellectual property) assignment contracts.
- Login/FTP access: In cases where experts must supply their email addresses to access a system or file library necessary to complete the work.
Under these circumstances, the sharing of contact details is allowed; however, all correspondence must continue to occur through Cad Crowd.

If a client or expert inquires about your contact details, be aware that this violates Cad Crowd’s Terms of Service. Politely inform the inquiring party that sharing such information is prohibited and that you must adhere to the platform’s rules.
âš¡ Is it permissible to incorporate my contact details in the resume that I submit?
No. As stated earlier, contact details are not allowed. Ensure you remove contact information and website links from your resume before sharing it with a client.
âš¡ Can I add contact information to my shared portfolio?
Contact information isn’t allowed in user portfolios. It is essential to inform your client that all correspondence must occur through Cad Crowd.
