About the job
We are seeking a highly skilled mold-making expert with significant, hands-on experience designing and working with silicone molds. While proficiency in CAD software (preferably Fusion 360) is essential, deep expertise in mold-making—including design, troubleshooting, and production—is the primary requirement.
You will need to design hard shells or mother molds from specific 3D models I will give you to be 3d printed, which will serve as the foundation for creating silicon molds in a cavity pour process.
What We’re Looking For:
-Mold-Making Expertise: Must have extensive, direct hands-on experience creating and designing silicone molds, particularly for complex forms. This includes:
-Knowledge of parting lines, undercuts, and mold release techniques.
-Experience designing molds for 3D printed hard shells.
-A deep understanding of silicone’s behavior, flow, and curing processes.
-CAD Skills: Ability to translate mold designs into precise, manufacturable 3D models using software such as Fusion 360 or SolidWorks.
