I have 12 years of extensive experience in Piping (Stress & Layout) worked with Aker, Keppel shipyard and other large multinational companies in the offshore and Oil & Gas sectors. I have been actively involved in the Stress analysis of FPSO, FNLG, and LNG carriers (Cryogenic lines).
I have a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed college in India.
Currently I offer the total range of Pipe Stress Analysis (Static & Dynamic) of offshore projects like FPSO, FLNG, FSRU, FSU and LNG carrier and Onshore projects like refineries and power plants.
Brief Scope of Services Offered is described below:
Stress Analysis
❖ Static and Dynamic analysis of Onshore and Offshore projects.
• Static Analysis:
Expertise in stress analysis of piping connected to static equipment such as Heat Exchangers, Vessels, Columns, Drums, Reactors, Heaters, Air Fin Fan coolers and tanks
Expertise in stress analysis piping connected to rotary equipment such as Pumps (hot and cold) ,Compressors and Turbines.
• Dynamic Analysis:
Expertise in dynamic analysis using Caesar II
1. Modal analysis (vibration)
2. Time history analysis (surge, water hammer)
3. Response Spectrum analysis (earthquake)
4. Harmonic analysis.
❖ Identification of critical and non-critical lines and in preparation of stress design basis.
❖ Expertise in basic stress concepts, failure theories and fatigue failure concepts.
❖ Expertise in using judiciously all pipe supports like shoes, saddle, guides, line stops, springs, struts, expansion joints, clamps, U-bolts, adjustable supports etc.
❖ Expertise in calculating static equivalent for occasional case like, seismic, wind and psv.
❖ Expertise in structural sway, two phase flow and slug flow analysis.
❖ Expertise in analysis of jacketed piping (weld check, thickness requirement, buckling check, spacers) for SRU plant.
❖ Competent in analysis of FRP piping (BS 7159). Their Difference from Metallic piping, parameters differences like physical properties, allowable etc.
❖ Familiar with all relevant and applicable design codes like:
ASME B31.3 (process piping), ASME B31.1 (power piping), B31.4 (fuel gas piping) B31.8 (gas transmission and distribution, ASME SECTION VIII DIVISION 1 and 2., BS 7159 (FRP), PD5500, DNV
❖ Expertise in using Caesar II.
Software Available:
1. CAESARII 6.1 version
2. Auto-Cad 2012
