I have been working in this field (design for manufacturability) for over 4 years. I have a technical knowledge in mechanical design gained from higher education as well as experience. Currently I'm using Fusion 360 to create mechanical models, FEA, engineering drawing as well as generating g-code for CNC manufacturing. I also have knowledge in proper material selection for the parts based on the function, environment, cost, adaptability as well as service life of the part. My experience is mostly focused on the design of mechanical parts, mechanical analysis (FEA, material selection) and manufacturing (Machining, additive manufacturing). I am a mechanical engineer with over 15 years experience in new product design and development. I have worked on everything from high end consumer products and sporting goods to military hardware and everything in between.
