A beginning graphic designer with an associate’s degree looking to join the graphic design industry. My goal is to use my creative talents to benefit the company and bring joy to others. I'm knowledgeable in using various production software such as Photoshop, Maya, Libre Office, Unity, Animate, Illustrator, Indesign, and Wavepad. I’ve had practice in 2D/3D art production software. Working in Photoshop and Maya are two of my strongest skills. I enjoy creating art pieces or other 2D designs such as a website page, advertisement, or greeting card. There are also many miscellaneous objects and props I build in Maya for fun. One of my biggest projects was to design and build a 3D environment from scratch. Throughout all these, soft skills were also put to the test. Some examples intrude problem solving, improvising, and deciding on a different approach when my original plan doesn’t work. My specialty is building objects from a game or cartoon. I enjoy building things that are related to fun and games.

Most of my 3D work experience comes from my time working for a small custom shop in Olympia Washington. There I used my mechanical inclination for surgical tool design and modification. Ive worked with many clients who needed custom designs within a short window of time, which I believe translates well to freelance design. I drafted for steel fabrication for 4 years. 2 of the 4 years were spent heading the product department which focused on piping and pipe supports and misc. fabricated items. We fabricated from Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum. Now I own the Delightful Neighborhood Market, a neighborhood grocery store. I miss doing design work and would like to do extra work to earn extra money to save for my children’s college.

I love designing outside the box. Different. Unusual. My goal is to spend as little money as possible to re-create a brand new space. It doesn’t have to cost a lot to totally transform a room or space. I owned a small business for 13 years. It was a boutique consignment store, and that is where my love for redesign stemmed. Changing the store displays and windows to perfection are what I enjoyed the most. The day I sold my business, I was asked to do store displays for a fast-growing resale/repurposing store. I was honored to help them design their brand new 13,000 square foot building! I have free reign to use my creativity however I want, and because of this, I feel that my experience has “upped” a notch or two. I love helping people find their style, or if they don’t have one.... that’s okay too.
