I have 20 years of experience as an embedded hardware design engineer, focused primarily in FPGA design. I have designed and developed mixed-signal FPGA based systems for digital signal processing applications, flow control systems and image reconstruction. I have a great deal of experience with multi-layer high-speed PCB development (> 1Gbps), embedded systems development using VHDL, C/C++ and Python. I’m an experienced mechanical design and process engineer that has worked with a variety of clients in the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical processing industries. I also have extensive experience regarding automation, machine and process equipment design for various OEMs and end users. My other interests include computational fluid dynamics analysis, finite element methods/analysis, and chemical process simulation utilizing industry standard software platforms. I have degrees in Mechanical Design Technology, Industrial Business Management, and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Design.
