I've been drafting since 2011. My first job was running AutoCAD for a landscape architect at 15 years old. During my high school career I was taught how to use AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, and to draft by hand. During my college career I was taught and certified in Solidworks, revisited Revit, and brushed over 3DS Max before covid. In my spare time I've been teaching myself animation and 3d modeling using blender. Since my childhood I've been drafting inventions, some of which have been made by major companies by coincidence. I have a balanced creative and technical mind that allows me to accel in the mechanical design field.

I am a machinist and fabricator first, but have extensive experience with 2D and 3D CAD design, modeling, drafting and CAM programming. While not any type of engineer on paper, I have collaborated with some of the smartest people (engineers and technicians alike) I believe exist in several very specific corners of the manufacturing world. My number one goal in designing a part/product/etc. for someone, is to fully understand the expectations of the client...then hopefully carrying those initial ideas to the final stage. I'm a highly motivated individual and have a unique ability to hyper-focus on major tasks. That combined with my strong discipline and time management skills makes me uniquely equipped to work as a freelancer. I work best when I am able to set my own hours and timelines. I just graduated in May 2021 with an A.A.S. in CAD Drafting and Technology. I completed this program while working full time and being a single mother. I may not have years of experience, but my knowledge is fresh and I am ready to begin working immediately. In school I studied Solidworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Inventor, REVIT, GD&T, Manufacturing Processes, Working Drawings, Print Reading, Mechanisms, Physics, and Practical Problem Solving. I worked on a Design Project as well. In that class I designed from the ground up a folding bunk bed unit with a stay level desk and storage. I went above and beyond to design something useful and unique when I could have done the bare minimum and simply designed a single part like some of my classmates did. I am a firm believer in environmental accountability and sustainability. I am interested in designing furniture for small spaces made from sustainable or recycled materials, tiny houses, homeless shelters, storage sheds, or green-living homes.
