Design and 3D modelling of engine covers for various BMW models

The gallery represents a small part of my work on the design and 3D modeling of engine covers for BMW. Working on such projects requires, in addition to design and modeling skills, knowledge of production processes, safety standards regarding the protection of sand from impacts as well as the spread of heat from the engine. With all these limitations, it is quite challenging to make a good design and fit it all into the price through a cheap and quality production process. This is especially true when it comes to premium brands that want to have a good view of the power unit when the hood is raised.
