It was one of my first serious works. I was a student in my last years, so many times I had to ask the
superior engineer for advice, but the experience was priceless.
This hydraulic pantograph is designed for smooth controlled lifting of the bottom of autoclave
baskets. Thus, the loading and unloading of the product always took place from the top of the
basket. Before the advent of the lifter, workers had to dive to the bottom of the basket to put in or
take out the cans. It was quite a spectacle =) Now, it does not look fresh, but this hydraulic lifter
was designed and built about 13 years ago and it’s been working since then.
