Shipping package for radioactive materials

An analysis of the integrity and tightness of the shipping package for the transportation of radioactive materials was performed. The case of the shipping package falling, with a height of 9 meters during transportation, is observed. The two most dangerous options for a package fall have been identified – on the side face and on the corner. The recommendations for optimizing construction to meet requirements for fall emergencies issued.
