I am a 3D environment artist named Fahad M. Shafique with experience in creating art for various platforms. I am currently working at Dimenxion.io as a 3D environment artist, where I design environment art for a blockchain metaverse app, including multiple levels such as lobbies, fighting arenas, racing tracks, and other in-app activities. I have achieved a distinctive style for each asset of different factions in the metaverse and optimized 3D assets with LODs and baked normal maps. I also model environment assets such as modular buildings, terrain, roads, and props and develop baked lighting for WebGL in Unity.
In addition to my current role, I have been working as a freelance 3D game artist on ▒▒▒▒▒▒ since December 2018. I design environment art that is optimized for VR platforms such as Oculus Quest 2, high-quality maps and levels for FPS games for PC and mobile, and VR training programs. I also produce high-quality modular environment props using Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter, develop 3D assets for Unreal Engine and Unity, and design props using Zbrush hard surface normal and integrate the models into game engines.
Previously, I worked as an environment artist at Quintessence Pictures, where I led the production of high-quality polygon models, designed environment art for Unreal Engine for virtual production, achieved ray-traced environment lighting setup for cinematic shots, and developed high-quality 4K texturing in Substance Painter. I also worked as a 3D artist at Shaheen Aero traders, where I modeled high-quality low poly models of jeeps, trucks, and aircraft and made them game-ready for Unity, designed environment art based on real locations for HTC Vive in Unity, modeled hard surface radio equipment and panels as game-ready assets to be used in Unity, optimized the props to be used in Unity for HTC Vive, and modified existing prefabs and cleaned the geometry and textures to be used in Unity.
I hold a BS in Computer Science from Capital University of Science & Technology in Islamabad, Pakistan.
