Dominic Spooner is an industrial designer and founder of Ember Design House. Dominic has over ten years’ experience in the design and manufacture of products for military, commercial and consumer industries. Dominic commenced his career designing satellites. He designed and managed the development of a satellite for use in disaster response; a world first in satellite design and application. From designing satellites he moved to the design and mass manufacture of consumer products ranging from electronics and wearables to electric vehicles and energy storage. Dominic traveled extensively to Asia to manage the successful manufacture of products and today maintains a network of prototyping and manufacturing suppliers in China and Taiwan. Since starting Ember Design House Dominic has contributed to design projects for Flex (formally Flextronics), Sony, Dyson, LifeProof, Ottobox, and Husqvarna. Dominic is also a co-founder of Battery Corp., developing innovative battery technology solutions.
