Enthusiast with State of the art Automation with passion in Design. Searching for a freelance position in CAD Design. Searching for jobs that combines human interaction, teamwork, brainstorming and application of design and mechanical knowledge. Willing to work under pressure, used in keeping up with tight deadlines, not afraid to take risks. Background: My first internship in S.Kalogeropoulos & Sia, in which my job was hands on pumps,turbines and motors of ships. Subsequently, I started working as a researcher for LMS (Laboratory of Manufacturing and automation Systems), where I worked on the simulation of production lines and mechanisms using CAD systems, for optimization purposes. After that I worked on my thesis at Robotics Group on calculating the inverse kinematic chain of serial metamorphic robots, with the use of artificial neural networks. Now I work as a Presales Engineer in Zenon automation, which combines Drafting, 3D design, problem solving and sales.

I have graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department of the National Technical University of Athens (Diploma equivalent to MSc). My diploma thesis was about “Design and Analysis of a Wave Energy System”. The system, named “Wave Winch”, is patented and it has gained several distinctions awarded in national and worldwide competitions. I have experience on system engineering, and mechanical design using contemporary CAD/CAE software tools such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, ANSYS Workbench, Matlab and Simulink. I am working as a freelancer since 2013 and I have work experience in CAD modelling, engineering simulations, digital prototyping and 3d printing. Furthermore I am familiar with subjects such as computer programming, optimization algorithms. Additionally, during my studies I have attended courses concerning economics, business administration, logistics, operational research, project management, financial engineering and feasibility studies especially for plants exploiting variable renewable energy sources.
