I'm proficient and prefer to design in PTC Creo, but I can also design in the CAD software of your choice (SolidWorks, Inventor, SolidEdge, Catia).
For 2D .dwg and .dxf drafting I use Draftsight.
In the product development I often use FEM and CFD analysis to simulate the product behavior in real world environment, to reduce the number of iterations in the prototyping and testing phase of the product design. For simulations I use SimScale and Ansys.
