I am a mechanical engineer with a solid academic background from the Polytechnic University of Turin, one of the most renowned institutions in the field of engineering. During my academic journey, I had the opportunity to delve into a wide range of engineering disciplines, acquiring an in-depth knowledge of the fundamental principles governing the operation of mechanical systems. This path provided me with a solid foundation on which to build my professional career and prepared me to tackle real-world challenges.
One of the most significant experiences of my career was my collaboration with Leonardo S.p.A., a leading company in the aerospace and defense sector. In this role, I had the honor of leading the development process of an advanced physical model of a polymer matrix composite material. This project involved multiple phases, from conceptualizing the model to its detailed modeling using state-of-the-art CAD software, to in-depth analysis using the Finite Element Method (FEM). I worked closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the model, thereby contributing to the success of the project as a whole.
In addition to my experience with Leonardo S.p.A., I had the privilege of leading consulting projects for the restoration of historic racing cars, particularly vintage Formula 1 cars. This sector combines my passion for mechanical engineering with my love for the history of motorsport, offering me the opportunity to apply my engineering skills while preserving and restoring the historical heritage of motor racing. During these projects, I worked closely with passionate collectors and industry experts to ensure maximum historical authenticity and the best possible performance of the restored cars.
Another significant experience that has shaped my professional journey was my involvement in a team in the suborbital spaceflight sector. This unique opportunity was offered to me through a challenge promoted by the European Aerospace Museum, in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), ArianeGroup, and Dassault Aviation. As a member of this team, I had the opportunity to contribute to the design and structural engineering of a suborbital vehicle destined to challenge the boundaries of the Earth's atmosphere. This project exposed me to a wide range of unique technical challenges in the aerospace sector and allowed me to work closely with some of the top engineers and scientists in the field.
My passion for innovation and precision guides every aspect of my career. I am constantly seeking new ways to apply my engineering skills to solve complex problems and advance ambitious projects. My experience has taught me the importance of collaboration and teamwork in achieving common goals, and I am always ready to test myself in new challenges that require creativity, dedication, and determination.
In addition to my professional experiences, I am committed to continuing my learning and development of my skills. I stay updated on the latest innovations in the field of mechanical engineering and regularly participate in training courses and conferences to stay abreast of industry trends. I am also an active member of several professional organizations, which offer me the opportunity to connect with other industry professionals and share my experiences and knowledge.
In conclusion, I am a passionate and determined mechanical engineer with a solid academic background and extensive professional experience in the engineering field. I am motivated by the challenge of solving complex problems and contributing to the progress of science and technology. I believe that my skills, experience, and dedication can be an asset to any project or organization, and I am excited to put my abilities to work for future challenges.
