Hey there! Thank you for checking out my profile. I have been designing in various CAD and Illustration suites since 2010. Most of my 3D work experience comes from my time working for a small custom shop in Olympia Washington. There I used my mechanical inclination for surgical tool design and modification. Ive worked with many clients who needed custom designs within a short window of time, which I believe translates well to freelance design. I've previously worked in defense contracting, automotive parts supplier, foundry & castings, plastic thermoforming, and general shop and fabrication with CNC Mill/Lathework. I have compentency in several CAD software programs but primarily use Fusion 360. I'm able to create components, assemblies, kinetic models, sheet metal flat patterns, DXF line work (laser, water, plasma), and drawings (GD&T). I graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2020. While I was there I used my skills to start a nonprofit designing and producing 3D printed hands for children. I now work on projects designing heavy-duty, functional, 3D printed titanium prosthetic fingers and all of the accessories that accompany them. I have experience designing parts and assemblies using both top down and bottom up modeling methods. I also have experience assembling individually modeled parts with tight tolerances into a functional assembly and running diagnostic tests on those parts.
