The major content areas of the degree were Mine Surveying, Land Surveying, Engineering Survey, Rural and Urban Planning, GIS, Remote sensing, Law, Geodesy, and Photogrammetry. In addition to this, my degree course had courses in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and Statistics, the sciences which are the basis of geoinformatics. My studies introduced me to numerous softwares that are used in the geospatial domain, software such as Surpac, Micro Station, AutoCAD, at Bindura Nickel Corporation(Trojan Mine) in Zimbabwe.
