About
I am a holder of a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Geoinformatics and Surveying from the University of Zimbabwe. My degree gave me a broad overview of the broad geospatial domain. The major content areas of the degree were Mine Surveying, Land Surveying, Engineering Survey, Rural and Urban Planning, GIS, Remote sensing, Law, Geodesy, and Photogrammetry. In addition to this, my degree course had courses in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and Statistics, the sciences which are the basis of geoinformatics. My studies introduced me to numerous softwares that are used in the geospatial domain, software such as Surpac, Micro Station, AutoCAD, at Bindura Nickel Corporation(Trojan Mine) in Zimbabwe.
I have been involved in various mapping projects at the companies I worked at, specifically topographical maps, sectional maps, sketch maps, etc. I have a strong background and experience with Arc GIS as well as QGIS.
I am a committed individual who prefers working in an intellectually stimulating environment
