• Furniture Design Assistant MayMyo Design · Full-time Mar 2023 – Jun 2024 1 yrs 3 mos Sandton, GP, South Africa I was responsible for managing all admin tasks, including placing orders, requesting quotes, collecting & delivering components for projects, and liaising with suppliers – with which I have built successful relationships.
  
  I designed high-end, Italian-inspired Domestic & Corporate furniture. This included understanding the client’s request and finding ways to make those requests possible, through experimentation and simulation. These designs were translated into 3D models and renders for client presentation, forming part of the experimentation & simulation process, showcasing the possibilities and benefits of the design.
  
  Once a design was approved, I created manufacturing drawings for production (laser cutting, CNC cutting, Machining, Rolling, etc.)
• CAD Draftsman E.S. Mining · Freelance Oct 2022 – Nov 2022 1 mos Germiston, GP, South Africa I was tasked with creating manufacturing drawings for components in a Drill Head (Coal Mining sector). Each component required a 3D model and eventually a full assembly. These models were used as a design foundation, understanding the tolerances, and fit of each component when fully assembled.
• CAD Draftsman A.L. Mining Technics · Freelance Oct 2021 – Nov 2021 1 mos Boksburg, GP, South Africa I was tasked with creating plan & presentation drawings for on-site mining furnaces. These drawings were used for client approval as well as site planning. Each furnace and its corresponding components were translated into 3D models using Inventor.
• 3D Modeling Design Private · Freelance May 2020 – May 2020 0 mos Germiston, GP, South Africa I designed a male bedroom, including a new built-in Cupboard and Bedroom Suite. A total of 3 variations, including 3D models & renders, were created for the client to choose from. Each model included the room composition as well as individual furniture pieces.
  The 3D models – created in Blender - were purely used for visual representation.
• CAD Draftsman NOVA Engineering Works · Freelance Apr 2019 – Apr 2019 0 mos Germiston, GP, South Africa I had the responsibility of creating fabrication drawings & parts list for an Industrial Pump Base. I was given a .STEP file, from which I had to recreate the individual parts & assembly in Inventor. The fabrication drawings for each component were created through Inventor too.
• 3D Modeling Design Private · Freelance Dec 2018 – Jan 2019 1 mos Boksburg, GP, South Africa I was tasked with converting the client’s ideas for a new kitchen/dining area into 3D renders, including built-in cupboards, countertop configurations, and redesigned interior archways.
  The same process was requested for the female bedroom, including a custom bedroom suite, vanity, study area & lighting composition.
