Hello, my name is Lucas and I am a young professional working at the University of Cape Town for the mechanical engineering department. My current position is mainly based on research projects regarding new production technologies. The main focus hereby is on theoretical analyses by using Ansys as a simulation tool. I am a highly motivated and curios Engineer! I have a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8 years experience in Mechanical and Electrical Hardware. My experience ranges from aircraft electronic hardware and control systems to film-quality robotic arms. I have also been responsible for multiple products from their concept phase all the way to production and integration. I have always had a love for electronics and creating and for Mechatronics or Robotic projects.
