About

I’m a freelance analog engineer offering PCB Services. I have purchased my own copy of Altium Designer (PCB software). My company, DAS Engineering, is listed as a service bureau outsourcing partner on the Altium website.

I also own my own microwave laboratory with the capability to provide turnkey solutions - design, schematic capture, layout, and test.

I’ve worked in Silicon Valley for 20 years as an analog design engineer specializing in RF/Microwave/mmW as well as some digital and firmware.

I can also provide critical electromagnetic simulations on specific PCB layouts, integrate RF components on PCBs (antennas, couplers, filters, etc.), run signal integrity checks on your PCB as well as design analog, RF, microwave or mmW on your PCB.

My past includes architecture design of radio systems, point to point and spectrum analyzers (see the front cover of the 2004 May issue of Microwaves & RF). Most recently, I’ve spent time in RFIC design designing inductors, baluns and transformers for silicon CMOS on 28nm, 40nm and 65nm nodes.

Given my extensive background you might ask why I’m offering PCB work. Obviously, I offer quite a bit more than just PCB services - but I am also fine with a PCB role, not only is this fun, but I get to run my own company :-)
