Time served apprenticeship in the manufacture of medical devices, CNC milling and turning creating complex shapes and profiles in a variety of different materials. Responsible for looking after more junior members of the team and organising tooling testing for developing production techniques.
R&D in the design of stages for microscopes. Design of new stages for tensile testing, blood shearing, hot and cold stages and development of a high pressure stage. Manufacture of one-off bespoke items for clients, remote troubleshooting and fault finding.
