About
Aerospace engineer with interest in technology development. My professional experience includes working as a mechanical design engineer for a world-class aircraft seat company, and as head of the aerospace engineering center for a state university teaching undergraduate courses and performing aerospace research projects.
During graduate school, I acquired knowledge in aircraft design, rotorcraft aerodynamics, aero-engines, CATIA V5, and aerodynamics.
I also have a consulting firm for contractual aerospace engineering projects. I have participated in general aviation and fixed-wing UAV aircraft design projects.
My strengths and capabilities are: aircraft conceptual design (civil/defense), rotorcraft conceptual design, aerodynamic design, CATIA V5, and rocket engineering.

I started by evaluating surface generation methods in CATIA V5 to generate free-style surfaces of helicopter external components. Also, I established best-practice guidelines for automatic surface generation with CATIA V5. Moreover, I performed helicopter fuselage CFD analyses. Finally, I developed a script-based automatic numerical optimization framework by linking CAD-surface generation, meshing, and high-fidelity CFD tools to an optimizer.
