I am a degree qualified Naval Architect, I have worked within the Marine sector for 4 years and previously worked in Plastics manufacture as a workshop engineer and injection moulding engineer. I have worked extensively with 3D CAD design for Composite parts and assemblies, injection moulded parts and metal fabrication including production support following the issue of my drawings. I have worked both solo and in a team to bring together projects, from a 40m yacht design to 3.5m RIBs to individual componants.

My role as CAD Engineer covered the whole design process from initial customer contact and early boat drawings to production drawings of individual components and final rendered images to accompany vessel paperwork. I also produced the accompanying paperwork, including quality control data, boat coding information and structural data. I supported the manufacture of the craft as they went through
the production process and performed final stability and seakeeping tests on the finished vessels.
