A University project aimed at designing a plunger pump. All main hydraulic design calculations as well as strength calculations were performed and all the design was built upon the obtained values. The blue parts within the pictures are rotation parts, while the grey ones are fixed. The top support pump head can be tilted 22 degrees, while changing the regime of the pump from top performance to 0 liquid supply performance, thus allowing to change the supply value for the hydraulic system. Within pictures you can see the hydraulic pump in 2 positions: 1) First one being the active pumping positions where the plunger step size is of maximum value, thus the pump is providing the maximum hydraulic liquid supply, 2) and the second one is the neutral position, where the plunger step =0, thus providing 0 hydraulic liquid supply.
