@jessebrown131313 - That sounds like a good idea. I would be interested in seeing a design for that. In our current version, the feedback we have gotten from users is that it sometimes can be hard to slip on over wheels, especially for younger kids. It rarely slips off since it fits snuggly around the wheels.

Is there a specific hardness to the rubber/silicone needed? Softer or the same durometer as the wheels?

If the goal is to keep them from coming off, any change you make could possibly cause the design to be harder to put on, or would cause for a possible material change. Why not instead, include a second molded part that cinches on the medial lateral side of the wheel stop, making the hole smaller than the wheel and preventing it from slipping off. Then you could unclip the cinch, and remove it, then remove the wheel covers. The wheel cover designs as is are beautiful.
