I thought I will try myself as a "freelancer" to see how online engineering works, but I still have a job. :) I am a mechanical engineer and a product developer. My field of expertise is plastic part design. I have designed different plastic products (parts and assemblies) for the automotive industry (traditional mold, in-mold or overmold designs, 2K molded parts as well as in-mold film design). I also have experience in designing sheet metal parts, deep drawn or machined metal parts as they often comes with automotive products. At the beginning of my engineer carrier I created designs for food industry. It was a general design of tanks for breweries and machines for food processing firms made of stainless steel. I hope I get the chance again here. I work (and live) in Hungary, however I had/have the chance to work with foreign engineers. I have 18 years of product design experience, I use Catia V5 for my daily work, but as a freelancer I cannot afford to use it, yet. I'm curious If I had the chance to earn the money for that. :) That would be great to have my own Catia license, because with that CAD system everything is possible to be made, but it would mean higher hourly rate too. Until that, I'm going to use free CAD softwares, like FreeCAD, which looks quiet good for mechanical designs. And it can generate IGES, STP/STEP or STL files in a neutral CAD format, which is good for the client, and so the work comes cheaper too. Anyhow, let's create something from nothing!

Key Skills: ✓ Good analytical and problem-solving skills. ✓ Quick learning capabilities with Relevant experience. ✓ Drafting assembly drawing with levels and preparation of Bill of Material. ✓ Good Experience on SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, FreeCAD and AutoCAD Mechanical 2020. ✓ Good work experience of Part modeling, Assembly, Drafting and detailing, Sheet Metal, Piping, Weldments with Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks. ✓ Working Knowledge of SAP PLM Integration with Autodesk Inventor. ✓ Good Experience of Working on-site at customer location. ✓ Basic Knowledge of GD&T and Awareness to Manufacturing processes. ✓ Self-starter with ability to remain Productive under limited supervision. ✓ Good Working experience on working multiple CAD packages at a time. ✓ Highly committed to meet Client requirement and deadline. ✓ Handled the job of checking and correcting the complete Bill of Materials (BOM) of a machine before it is released for manufacturing. ✓ Assigned with the responsibilities of creating the Dimensional Drawings, Main Assembly Drawing, Part Drawings, and the complete Bill of Materials of Assembly. ✓ Working knowledge of Creation of IPN file for Customer Product Manual using Autodesk Inventor. ✓ Working Knowledge of creating Hose and Fittings and publishing it to SAP content center using Autodesk Inventor. ✓ Working Knowledge of Enovia, SmarTeam PLM with Autodesk Inventor. ✓ Good working knowledge of Coordination and working with project team members and other disciplines.
