I have been involved in the high end, highly detailed Kitchen and Bath Design in Los Angeles. With a background in "hands-on" design and production of detailed joinery, furniture, cabinetry, exhibition show stands, point of sale displays, boatbuilding...I got involved with kitchens about 15-16 years ago and found that I had a knack for space planning and detail. Starting out in Sydney, Australia...we then moved to LA whereby I worked in a few of the best kitchen studios around. This brought my level of service in design and drafting to a whole new level of communication through comprehensive documentation and research resulting in plans, elevations, typical section details, mechanical & electrical & construction drawings. We started our own "Southland Kitchen Design Studio" in Santa Monica just before the fall of 2008.
