I have served as a Technician for numerous highway projects, which my responsibilities have included civil and structural engineering, drafting for preliminary and final design contract documents; cross sections, profiles, roadway alignment sheets; maintenance and protection plans; topographic and planimetric maps; graphic illustrations for promotional presentations and traffic counting. I am a Principle Mechanical Design Engineer based in Minneapolis, MN. I have over 25 years of product design experience and can make your ideas come to life in 3D. I own and operate a mechanical design services business. I have 11 US Patents My hourly rate may be a bit higher, but you get what you pay for! Your design is not a place to be cheap. I have been using Solidworks doing intensive design projects since 1997, and used other CAD systems for many years before that (in fact I started with a pencil and a drafting board). I am likely faster and more experienced than most, and can steer your design in the right direction so the parts are manufacturable and as inexpensive as possible.

There I learned and used CATIA v4 and was fully trained in CATIA v5. I've spent the last 10 years working in various design roles as an individual contributor and design lead of cross functional teams on simple and complex projects with values exceeding $15 million. I have advanced skills in CATIA v5 in areas of solid modeling, complex surfacing, assembly design, and drafting as well as bill of material and bill of specification creation, modification, and maintenance.
