  • Engineer 2nd Lt. Istanbul Naval Shipyard · Full-time Dec 2021 – Oct 2022 10 mos İstanbul, İstanbul, Türkiye In 240-Design Chiefengineer Department located on İstanbul Naval Shipyard, I worked and finished off
    my national military service duty as an Engineer 2nd Lieutenant/Reserve Officer (Naval Architecture and Naval
    Engineer) at (currently retired) Dr.Eng.Sn.Col. Kıvanç Ali ANIL (both Mechanical Engineer and Naval
    Engineer), Chiefengineer’s command of the shipyard with including of completed CBRN-Chemical Biological
    Radioactive Nuclear, fire fighting and collision combined warfare course of 2 weeks and after that 10 months,
    including various duties.
  • Outfitting Technician and Engineer KDR Engineering · Full-time Sep 2020 – Sep 2021 1 yrs İstanbul, İstanbul, Türkiye In Kuzey Star Shipyard, I proceed administration of productions and/or installations onto Railed
    Cargo/Ro-Ro type new building ship H191, named as Marshal Rokossovsky, which is RMRS–Russian Maritime
    Register of Shipping certificated in Outfitting Department.

Other experience

  • Compulsory Intern -with Ship Register Rules (1 month) In Kuzey Star Shipyard, I successly completed Life and Safety Course from BV-Bureau Veritas, which
    is A French Ship Register Foundation. I took duties about finalizing technical and practical remained works
    through steelworks workshop and into the ship, in the frame of outfitting department for a chemical tanker,
    named as Kuzey Star Varetta II, when she is in final building and delivery phase with my mentor Naval
    Architecture and Naval Engineer Kadir KOCA, in my last internship before graduation. Because of COVID-19
    pandemic period and distant education programme of YTU, I considered this situation and decided to continue
    for company dealing with increased work wheel conditions and more responsibility, after successly completed
    my last internship.
  • Compulsory Modern Intern -Optional Department (1 month) In formerly named as Selah Shipyard, I joined routine life and safety controls with Life and Safety
    Department Manager Arda ARICAN and also, routine controls and process trackings with Naval Architecture
    and Naval Engineer Emrah BAKIRDAL, which are belong to H76-A New Building Chemical Tanker placed on
    2. cradle slipway and was ongoing building, in steelworks workshop and jig pitch. I has been an observer in a
    part of dialogs and meetings about mechanical arrangement and would made revision works with subcontractors,
    inspectors and other experts. In that context, I learned to preparation, reason and especially logic of some
    calculation form types in MS Excel. I closely analyzed work sharing, administration with connection of business
    ethics and profession through including the ship’s hydrostatic, other techinal specifications and current
    construction status. I tracked fore block section placing and montage process of H76, above keel and side blocks
    with Life and Safety Department Manager Arda ARICAN and other engineers. Beside of these, I was in
    controlling process of employees into pipe platform which was a part of No 1 Open Working Area. Thus, I
    absorb that when, which period, and where each job done for both ship bıilding and maintenance in the shipyard.
    Because of disagreement with company owner, I leaved from the job by my own will, but after I successly
    completed my internship, then I continued my undergraduate education.
  • Assistant Student (5 months) In YTU Graduate School of Science and Engineering, I worked as an assistant student through
    preparing of some private lists and documents by using MS Office softwares with editing and drafting
    documents and archived them, in various agencies, especially military progress agency. I got in on updating
    folders into archives such as academic master and doctorate transcripts with commissioned officers, Bahri
    YILMAZ and Zekiye TAYDAŞ. Also, I helped for transfer of some documents, brochures and compendium
    journals among other block departments in Beşiktaş Campus. Because of moved the department to Davutpaşa
    Campus from Beşiktaş Campus and also in able to sustain my undergraduate education, I leaved the job afterthat.
    With all of them, I took charged of part-time jobs such as guardian, environment subject figurant in
    shows, theatres and ballet choregraphies into Türker İnanoğlu Maslak Show Center, did various duties as an
    open air concert organization crew member
  • Optional Practicum Intern (1,5 months) In formerly named as Selah Shipyard, I got in on 2 new building sister ships Ievoli Cobalt-H69 (that
    was in service testing phase) and Ievoli Amber-H70 (that was in outfitting phase) which would delivered to
    shipowner Marnavi Offshore, through pipe fitting, internal correspondences about materials and ingredients,
    employee, subcontractor employee and administration of them with my mentor, Naval Architecture and Naval
    Engineer Emrah BAKIRDAL and other engineers like him. While I was earning knowledge and experience
    about inspection checks, I also got a supportive role to make explanations and describes about isometric pipe
    outfitting drawings to employees and working areas for better employee experience and proper-done jobs
    (including minimal number of remarks) onto H69 and H70, in the same time. Because of beginning of the
    educational season, I leaved from the job and continued my undergraduate education.
  • Workshop Intern (1 month) In formerly named as Selah Shipyard, I practically and progressively earned knowledge about TIG,
    electric arc, MIG welding types, splitting with hydraulic band-saw and machining for production process of
    galvanic marine pipes and FO tanks in control of my mentor, Mechanical Engineer Ömer Faruk YILDIZ.
    Afterthat I got in on these jobs by hand with their completing myself. In the end of the workshop internship, I
    resumed as optional practicum intern for earning of more practical and technical job experience.
